Happy Birthday Miriam! Today you are 1 month old!
As I write this Miriam is screaming her head off and has been doing so for close to an hour. She is inconsolable. She usually experiences at least 1 period like this during the day plus some other fairly fussy times. I don't think she has colic because it isn't for 3 hours and it isn't always the same time of the day. It does make life challenging for all of us. I think it is gas because she is continually passing it and I can hear her stomach gurgling, the poor little thing.
This week was the first in a while in which Justin and I didn't have extra help from the grandmas. By Friday I was very happy Justin was home to help me out because it is quite hard when she has her inconsolable periods. I hadn't really had 15 consecutive free minutes when I didn't have to do something--whether it take a shower or let the dogs out or pump. Sorry to any of you from my work that are reading this post; I keep trying to respond to my emails but I have been continually called away!
Look how big Mira's tummy is getting! We are taking bets to see what her weight will be tomorrow when she has her 1 month checkup.
