Justin was in California much of last week. Me and the girls had a good time hanging and having some special treats. Thursday was 75 degrees, so we celebrated by a trip to Memorial Park followed by Menchie's frozen yogurt.
Justin was home very early on Friday (well, 4:30pm) and we had wonderful late afternoon dirty martinis and brownie baking (it was cold and rainy, so it was an inside kind of day). The weekend was REALLY nice. Deep clean of the bathroom on Saturday, Waseca Night Out on Saturday night (fundraiser for the school at Cine--our first time--REALLY fun!), and then a long fast run, solo grocery shopping and time to make a wonderful meal today. See pictures below.

Mira's new haircut. I got my haircut too and she looks like a younger version of me.
For some reason I have gotten it into my head that I have time to make some fancy meals from Frank Stitt's cookbook. So, I decided to document it since it happens so rarely now.
Roasted asparagus
Grits. The simple kind.
