Greetings from the Wideners. Birthday time for lots of kiddos and kiddos-at-heart are rolling around. A few weeks ago we went to Nate'd birthday celebration at Memorial Park Zoo. It was a great time. A rainy day, but there were some breaks in the rain that faciliatated a tour of the zoo, and there were lots of indoor animals to see too.

This weekend was Justin's Polar Bear Plunge. He has been planning this for almost a year. It is a fundraiser through rotary for 3 charities. I am so proud of him! As a thank you the president of rotary gave Justin tickets to this fancy wine dinner--we got all dressed up and ended up sharing a table with the mayor of Athens!
Justin's team were dressed as gladiators. He is the one with the mask and the sheild.
