Happy Bunny Day everyone! We had a little bit of a hectic week. Mira was not feeling well and so she was out of school on Tuesday. Justin was trying to catch up from being out of town last week, and I was busy as ever, so we were a bit stressed and very happy for the weekend! Mira had an Easter Egg hunt with her class on Thursday, which was really fun to watch! This weekend we had planned to go to Zoo Atlanta on Saturday afternoon, then stay overnight in Duluth (using one of our free hotel nights), play in the pool on Sunday morning, and then swing by Trader Joe's before heading back to Athens. Unfortunately there was a mix-up with our reservation and we ended up having to return to Athens on Saturday night. It was probably for the best, because Justin has caught Mira's cold, and on top of that it is now allergy season and he is truly suffering.

YUM! She has really gotten the hang of it since last weekend! She even ate a real whole hard boiled egg at the hunt! I thought she wasn't even going to let me peel it first!
Mira's first Easter basket!
Our first stop at the zoo: the warthog!!! Mira LOVED it! She just giggled and giggled and giggled and threw a complete fit when we made her move on to the next animal!
Not so happy to have her head sticking out of a hole
Loving the elephants!

We finished off the day with a trip to the zoo playground. Mira found a slide and kept at it for about 30 minutes! She was sort of a bully too, pushing past the kids that were slower....
On our way to go play with the ball in the church parking lot near our house. Apparently Mira always wants to sit down when she does outside so her teacher has encouraged us to try to get her up and moving! It is probably our fault since we go on so many walks with her either in the backpack or stroller.
