We had a very busy weekend! Mira was off of school on Friday (her 18-mo birthday!) so we had to juggle our schedules around a bit. I took that opportunity to take Mira to get her first hair cut! This lovely lady named Tamini at Custom Styles did a great job! She even French braided Mira's bangs!
Saturday we got together with Deanna, Amanda and Armaya. Mira had not seen them in 6 months--at her 1 year old party. We had a fun time going to the zoo and playing with the girls at lunchtime. Armaya is such a grown-up little lady now I can't believe it!
After our big lunch Mira took a nap and I hit all the thrift shops in Athens I could think of, searching for a 2T raincoat and a trike. I hit it up at the very last spot of the day and Mira now has a trike. I think she is a little too young for it, but I am sure she will be riding a BIKE before I can blink an eye.
As soon as Mira woke up we DASHED to Terrapin Brewery and made it just in time to run the 5k + 1 mile race. I am used to running on an empty stomach, in the cool morning as the sun is rising. Saturday's race was at 4pm, upper-70's, black pavement and rare shade. I did make it in about my normal time. Justin was a trooper and ran with me most of the way. At the last mile he really wanted to try to beat the stroller that was a 1/2 mile in front of us, so I said "go for it!" and he passed it right at the end. Good job sweetie!
Today has been pretty laid back. I spent several hours cleaning my car out. I don't think I have cleaned it that well since we bought it. Hopefully the milk stains do not return for a while...
My baby's first haircut! I really had no idea how she would react but she was very chill...stayed quiet and really just munched on her animal crackers. I was so proud of her!

Yummy ice cream!
I hope the girls can continue to get together as they can FINALLY actually play with each other!
