This past weekend my mom and dad (Amie and Oppie) came to visit. They were able to stay for 4 days so they had a really good visit with Mira! Mira got lots of experience eating out at restaurants and getting fed in public places. Mira doesn't really like being under the nursing cover, so that poses a bit of a challenge! I really just try to hold it over the important area while she kicks her legs and tries to tear the cover away from her face.
This is a big week for the Wideners. Mira's 8-month birthday today, our anniversary on Thursday and Abby's 10-year birthday on Friday. As soon as I get done with work on Friday we are heading up to Abbeville to spend the weekend with Justin's mom.

Mira has been sooooo into the Jumparoo lately!
Mira now has 2 bathing suits! Unfortunately I think she is a little, um, wider than the normal baby and I feel kind of like I am stuffing a sausage casing when I am trying to get them on her!
Pretending to stand up is so much fun!
