Happy Monday everyone! The last two weeks have gone by in a flash! Last weekend we went to Abbeville to help Ann figure out a plan about putting pavers in around the porch. During the week usually we have NOTHING going on except swim lessons. Well, this week we had dinner with Jason Hall on Monday, swim lessons and bluegrass on Tuesday, and swim lessons and dinner at the Hajduk's on Friday. Needless to say, we were exhausted when the weekend rolled around--but things didn't slow down that much! Saturday we picked up some fresh produce at the farmer's market and then we went to a party celebrating our nanny Amanda's acceptance into surgery school and ate some really yummy Brazilian BBQ. I also made Abby a peanut butter pineapple upside down cake for her 10th birthday. All of you who know me well know that the dogs receive for their birthdays a gift of a piece of a non-chocolate cake but do have to endure getting their pictures taken with party hats on. We have had so many birthdays that I think they almost tolerate the hats because they certainly anticipate the cake once the hats come out! See some pix below. I'll be doing a separate Father's Day posting (above).
