Miriam and Justin spent a lot of time together on Father's Day! We tried to relax a little.... We went out to listen to bluegrass as a Father's Day gift last Tuesday night. Miriam also got Justin a couple of new CDs that he liked. We spent much of the day doing errands and working on the house. Miriam also gave Justin a lovely FD gift of puke. I had been trying to teach her how to drink from a cup and I thought she had been doing great--she loved it! However, she must have loved it a little too much because about 5 minutes later it all came back up!
We had gotten some fresh veggies at the farmer's market yesterday so I made "massaged" kale and current salad, basil burgers, and grilled veggies. Tomorrow night we'll be having beet pizza. I'll let y'all know how it comes out!
Justin and I have a bet going regarding when Miriam will crawl. I say before July 4th weekend, he says during or after. She is SOOO close! Last week she learned how to get to a sitting position by herself (hence, we had to take her mobile away and move the crib down) and she is starting to pull up on things too. She sits on all fours and rocks back and forth but she just can't figure out what to do with both of her legs! It is truly amazing how fast she is developing. She is starting to figure out the "pincher" grip as well.
