This weekend was relatively un-busy so I had a chance to actually start on some of the craft projects for which I have made multiple trips to Hobby Lobby for with 40% off coupons.
Here is a bunting for Ceci's 2nd birthday party. It is themed "Cute As a Button"
The color scheme is light aqua, light pink and red. I had to improvise a little as per the felt colors available at the store.
I hand-sewed them all to a piece of wavy ribbon. There is probably a name for this kind of ribbon, but I don't know it!
I also made the girls matching mouse shirts for the Disney trip with their names in "Disney" font. This was a bit of a hassle as I think that we use our ink jet printer so infrequently that we have to replace ALL the cartridges every time we use it. I think we are just going to retire the printer and print everything at Office Max.
I will add bows via safety pins so they can be Minnie if they want!
