Peaches will be arriving soon and I am starting to feel very anxious/excited/scared. We got so much done on Labor Day weekend that we could spend a little time relaxing this past weekend. On Friday Justin's co-workers threw him a surprise baby shower! How nice! On Saturday we went to a baby shower for another one of Justin's Athens co-workers and then had a date night, and on Sunday I had a massage and Justin cooked us a yummy deep-dish pizza.
Mira has FINALLY moved to a big-girl bed! This was not by her choice, however. On Sunday we just decided to take down her crib. Saturday we tried to get her to sleep on the floor next to the crib by taking the mattress out, but she just laid on the hard cardboard. She seems fine with the bed now, however. Last night she even told me "Mommy, get up!" after we read stories.

Awesome cake that the chef at the country club made. Unfortunately we didn't get to try it because it was way past Mira's naptime and she had no patience to stick around!
