I had been to Birmingham, Alabama (my residence for 5 years) until this weekend. We took a road trip to visit Colin, Becca, and Anna who are now doing a short stint in B'ham. I was very prepared for many changes but, surprisingly, not much had changed!
I took TONS of pictures. Here are just a few:
Anna and Mira getting acquainted again on our first morning in B'ham. I am very proud of myself that I ran every morning. However, I am not sure how long I can keep it up as the pleasure/pain scale is tipping toward pain.

We had to go to Surin West, my favorite Thai restaurant in B'ham. Luckily they had paper tablecloths and crayons to entertain the girls!

We spent Sunday morning at the Birmingham Zoo. It was sweltering! Here Dad and Mira are watching the sea lion show.
Sunday afternoon the Powers invited us over for a swim. Here Anna and Colin are having FUN! Mira had lots of fun too, but she was moving so much it was hard to get any good pictures! She has absolutely no fears and even jumped into the water where Daddy couldn't reach bottom--pretty scary!

A snap of Mira this week. She insisted on putting on my shoes and I was impressed that she actually walked from room to room without them falling off! I think this one is a girly-girl!
