We arrived back late last night safe and sound from our visit to see Colin, Becca, and Anna Widener in Lexington, Kentucky. Anna is absolutely adorable! I have many more pictures so I will have to post again. We had a laid-back time--well, as laid back as you can get with 2 babies! Mira did very well in the car ride on the way there as it was mostly her bedtime (Thurs. 6:30pm-2:30am) but she had a bit of a harder time yesterday as we travelled all day. We decided to take the scenic route through the Smoky Mountains. However, that also meant we drove through the heart of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinberg. The 45-minutes of beautiful scenery probably didn't make up for the time lost and ugly tourist-trap scenery. Mira had a hard time because is also teething. Later in the afternoon I had an epiphany and gave her some Tylenol and she was a lot happier!
Here she is! I think she looks just like Becca. She has Becca's eyes and Colin's lips (Mira has Justin's lips!)
The brothers hanging out with their girls
Anna and Mira meet! I love this picture because Mira is waving her arms so fast!
You would think they were snuggling, but alas, neither of them can sit up so they are just leaning on each other!
The first of MANY trips for the cousins!
