Today Miriam is 5 months old! I can't believe how time has flown by! She seems like such a big girl now, but I am sure that in a few months I will look back and think about how little she was! Miriam loves to scream in delight; this becomes quite interesting when we are shopping at Walmart or in line at the bakery. I am certain that she can recognize me now and she probably knows I'm her mamma. She loves her daddy so much and always gives a big smile when she sees him. It seems like every day she is able to do more and more things. I think she is seriously teething now--the other day I put my finger in her mouth and instead of sucking on it she was biting down. She is learning how to manipulate smaller and smaller objects. Every once in a while she presses the noise button on the fishes that hang above her play gym, and she is moving around some of the little toys attached to her exersaucer. She is also slowly but surely becoming less portable. We'll have to have our nights out to eat as much as possible in the next few months (or weeks!).
Today was absolutely beautiful--sunny and in the 80's. It is hard to believe that last Monday was a snow day! I love Georgia!
Mira is ready to go for a walk after a good dinner of carrots! I am trying to make a lot of her baby food myself. Next will be sweet potatoes, then pears or bananas.

I am trying to give Mira more tummy time. I think she will be able to roll from her stomach to her back very soon.
