Happy New Year! We spent most of the holiday season with my family in Minnesota. We came very close to missing our flight because it took 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach the airport from our house. Thank goodness we made it. I didn't take too many pictures this trip, but activities included storytime at the Arboratum (sp?), Mall of America, Children's Museum, and swimming.
The weather was actually pretty warm. It was a brown Christmas--no snow--but I didn't mind. We had so much stuff coming back that we had to send 2 boxes and check 2 bags. I think we spent about $150 just carting our belongings back and forth!
Upon our return we spent some quality time with friends and family and I am currently cooking one of our favorite fall/winter meals: Hazelnut Squash Lasagne. YUM!
