Last weekend Justin went up hunting in Abbeville and so I was on my own with the girls. We had lots of fun with Nate and his mom as Nate's dad was in Abbeville too. Puppet shows, craft fairs, school parties, and more. Mira really likes to go out to dinner with Nate!
This past week we had several holiday parties (including a sing-along with Mira's class that she has been working HARD on since Thanksgiving) and today was a big day--breakfast with Santa! The weather here has been so nice. Going to Minnesota is going to be a shock for EVERYBODY! But Mira is very excited to make a "Frosty."

Mira was trying to comfort Ceci, but she REALLY didn't want to be on Santa's lap. I keep trying to get Mira to think about things that OTHERS might like for Christmas. Apparently Ceci wants a "stepsister dress" and Daddy wants a "prince costume."
Santa was terrific. I guess he has been acting as Santa at this event for over 15 years. He kept telling Mira how much he loved her and that he would be sure that he brought some presents to Minnesota for her!

Ceci is MUCH more interested in all the vehicles that Mira was at her age (Mira has zero interest in them now). She loves to try to get on the balance bike and the plasma car. She would love it if she could get on the real bike too!
