School is now officially out and summer school has started. Mira has moved up to Ms. Leslie's class, which has a tremendous number of kids compared to Ms. Tabithe's class. However, I think it is a good move for Mira and it will be helpful for her to be around older kids instead of younger ones.
The weekend after Mira's "graduation" Shu-Shu came for a wonderful visit. We were really able to spend time just hanging out. Then on Sunday Justin had a beer-brewing party. The following week there was no school so we paid one of the aftercare women to watch the girls in the morning.
On Friday afternoon we left for Gatlinburg for our annual Memorial Day visit with the Hansons. Unfortunately I do not have more than a couple pictures. I was really floored by how grown up Ella has gotten! Justin and Keith spent one morning hiking sans kiddos, and Caroline and I got to spend one morning shopping sans kiddos, which was wonderful! Unfortunately Mira threw up (again) on our ride to the smokies. Fortunately this year it was in our car and not the Hanson's car. I guess she gets carsick in the mountains. We drugged her with some Benadryl on the way home. It pays to bring laundry detergent as I am apparently not even getting out of doing laundry while on vacation!
Tomorrow we are leaving for Beaufort for Mary's christening. I cannot wait to meet the precious little girl!

Lara and Mira. Did I ever post how one day when I said to Mira "I love you" she replied "I love Nate's Mommy!"?
