Happy November! This week we have been adjusting to being just the Wideners, no longer the Reiman-Wideners household. Omie and Oppie left on Tuesday and luckily their travels were uneventful. Mira misses Omie very much and is always asking if we can call her!
Justin and I actually had a "date" (kind of) on Friday night too! Justin had a work party to attend and so we were kind of luckily forced into it. After his party we went for a drink at our neighbor's new (to me) bar called Normal (awesome cocktails!) and then for chocolate death cake at The Grit. I was even gone through a feeding and Cecilia took the bottle like a pro!

Hilary, Beau and Burke came over to visit and brought us a yummy dinner! Thanks guys! It won't be long until Mira and Burke are having play dates at the jungle gym!

Ceci dressed up as a pea in a pod. She was being a touch fussy so I didn't dare take any non-carseat pictures, unfortunately!
Mira's friend dragon (Nate) and his parents came over to trick-or-treat in our neighborhood since Boulevard is Halloween Central! They had a GREAT time! Nate is FAST and was very much into the candy. Mira was a little shy and pokey (very uncharacteristic!), checking out everybody's costumes and trying to invite herself into their houses...she really still didn't quite get what was going on. I'm sure she will next year!
