Today we had a 1-month appointment for Cecilia and a 2-year check up for Mira. Mira, usual, came in at the 90th percentile for her weight (30lb) and height (35-1/2in) and the 10th percentile for her head. She took her shots like a trooper and only cried for a few seconds. Once the nurse left the room I rewarded her with some M&M's (right after I got a speech from the doctor about how kids eat too much junk food--oh well!).
Cecilia was 9lb4oz and 21-1/2 in (both 50th percentile); that means she has grown almost 2 inches and gained 3 lb in 1 month! I guess I know where all the chocolate cake I have eaten has gone... I would love for her to get big quick if that means she will sleep through the night faster!
Omie and Oppie are going to go home tomorrow! Oppie has been getting better and better every day. He will still have to go to a rehabilitation facility in Minnesota instead of home, but I think it is important for him to remember to just take it 1 day at a time and see what happens.

Dil came over last night and brought us a wonderful Sri Lankian meal. I played my part by making a black bottom pudding pie. Here Mira was helping me "clean" the whipped cream bowl!
