Pumpkin Picking

I returned back from my trip to San Francisco safe and sound. Justin had to be out of town that same night for work so we were taking a chance that my plane would arrive on time. We were lucky! I had a good time in San Francisco but I was happy to be home. I think it was the first time in a LONG time that I wasn't responsible for anyone except myself! One night I even skipped regular dinner and just got a piece of cake at the Cheesecake Factory and took it back to my hotel room and watched cable TV!

Justin has felt sort of under the weather this weekend so he has been taking it easy. We are gearing up for a big work and partying weekend coming up. It is Halloween weekend and UGA is furloughed on Friday. Since Mira still has daycare we will bring here there during the day on Friday and BOTH of us will work on the house. I am hoping we can get a lot knocked out!

I just tried Mira's Teddy Bear Halloween costume on her and it is too small! It is for 6-12 months and it made for a non-walker. I thought that maybe I could cut out the feet and still get some use out of it but it is just plain too small. I will now go out and buy a ridiculously high priced outfit so that she can be snazzed up for her school's party on Friday.

Kay, Logan, Shane and I went pumpkin picking at Washington Farms

Mira has been obsessed lately with picking up things that she find outside, no matter how big. I think this is a green pumpkin. Shortly after she picked it up she dropped it, luckily not on her toes!

She tried to pick up this big pumpkin but it brought her down!

Examining a dead leaf. Luckily she has been putting a few less things in her mouth!

Logan, Shane and Mira. I think this was the only picture out of about a dozen where they are all looking up!
