Mira had her first dance recital on Sunday. The place she goes is on the more serious side and they have lots of rules. This stressed her mother out a lot. So much, that as I had planned to illegally take a video and photos during the performance, I just couldn't get my act together to do it. So, I will end up spending lots of money for some professional photos that they took on dress rehearsal day. I don't think I can bring myself to pay $25 for the DVD, though.
Mira did great. She stood next to her teacher on stage and danced! I was afraid she would just freeze up there with all the bright lights and no mirrors. The rest of the classes were actually really fun to watch too. I thought I would be bored after my kid performed, but it was honestly entertaining. Perhaps they have convinced me to sign on for next year....
