This weekend was pretty much just a lot of fun. I am so used to doing "work" even if it is just party planning. The girls also had their 1 and 3 year check ups earlier in the week. Lots of shots for Ceci and she didn't like it one little bit. Ceci came in at 25% in weight and 60% in height, Mira at 80% in weight and 75% in height. Both are doing great!
We started off Saturday with a race (Justin), the YMCA (Rachael) and then a trip to a Apple Festival fundraiser at Arrow, which is a children's learning center that our neighbor Amanda helped to found. We actually saw quite a few Waseca friends there!
After the Arrow Apple Festival we had a nap (or at least Ceci did!) and then headed to the Watkinsville Fall Festival. This festival was complete with lots of vendors, a bouncy house, petting zoo, and pony rides. Fun!
Mira wouldn't go on the ponies until Nate arrived, and even then she was a bit reluctant. Unfortunately, partway through the ride her pony let out a LOUD and LONG "NEIGHHHHHH" and she started to cry so I had to help her off!
Love
After the Fall Festival we hung out at the Guidrys for a pseudo-camping dinner of hot dogs and brats around the fire pit. The Guidrys even set up their tent and slept outside!
Sunday was a BEAUTIFUL day out. Unfortunately the girls were on opposite napping schedules so we didn't get outside as much as we would have liked. After Mira woke up in the afternoon we went for some frozen yogurt and then to the Botannical Gardens.
Here Mira is working up some speed to land on Dad.
