OK, ok, I think I am a week or 2 behind on my blog posts, but things are getting down to the wire, and we are still recovering from all our travels! Our last overnight trip was our trip to Minnesota, and I have to say that I am relieved. It is good to know that I won't have to pack any more bags for the foreseeable future (except my hospital bag, that is).
Two weekends ago we worked around the house and also went to Baby Burke's 1-year birthday party, which was a lot of fun for all of us. This past weekend we went to Scott's Antique Market, with some little side trips to Trader Joe's and Cheesecake Factory. A lot of fun for me!!! We even found a hutch for the girls' room. Our weeks have been filled with laundry and swim lessons.
I have taken a couple of pre-natal yoga classes lately and I have also replaced my weekend running routine with water aerobics, which has been a nice change of pace. However, I was pretty embarrassed this Saturday when Justin & Mira found some poop in the kiddie pool and they had to close it down. I was sure everybody would think that MY baby did it. Now, she certainly COULD have, but she didn't! But the instructor pointed out the fact that it might be worse to think that we had been swimming in it for almost an hour than to think that it was Mira's fault. So true.
I have a feeling things are getting close (34 weeks)....we'll see. I'll have to have Justin take a picture of my belly to demonstrate just how enormous I am.
Me and Mira hanging out on the Seagraves' deck
Such a cute girl! She was in good spirits even without a nap!
We tried to take a family picture but couldn't manage to get one with all of us looking at the camera. At least you can see Mira's cute mug here.
Happy Birthday Burke! Mira even helped to sing Happy Birthday.
You can't see it very well here, but Mira thought that the polenta I made for dinner last weekend was actually lotion and she smeared it all over her face and arms.
