We have had a pretty laid-back January so far. Last week was a short week for me because we were furloughed Monday. It was a short week for Justin too because he went hunting (well, shooting, really) in Abbeville the last half of the week and the weekend.
Mira had her 15-month check up today and she is, as expected, enormous. She was in the 9th percentile for her height and the 90th for her weight. However, Justin thinks (and I tend to agree) that they measured her incorrectly. She was 29-1/2 inches at 12 months and came in at 32-1/2 inches this month. It didn't help that Mira threw a fit through most of the exam.
Mira has got a TON of new words. It is fun to see her use new ones each day. She can kind of say her teacher's name (Tabithe) and some of her classmate's names too. Right now I am being a bad mom and writing the blog while letting her run around, likely eating crayons.
Scooter turned 12 on January 11th. What an old dude!
