Merry Christmas everyone! We spent a quiet Christmas in Athens and are preparing to go to Beaufort today. We decided to stick to Athens for a little while so we could take advantage of this long break and get some things done around the house before we relaxed.

We were visited on Christmas by a lizard/chamelion. Abby almost killed it. We had to let it go outside so it probably is no longer with us, which is too bad since it kills bugs.

My climber. I have spent most of my time at holiday parties stationed at the stairs. They are novel since we don't have any at our house!
On Christmas Eve we went to Kay's house for an oyster roast. This is a picture of Mira with Kay's friend Michelle.

Today we opened the gifts from Stephanie and Sophie! Mira got Mini ears! And a super soft blanket with built-in pillow!
